Since qualifying as a Chartered Accountant at Deloitte, I’ve worked with businesses ranging from early stage startups to FTSE 200 organisations. That journey shaped my belief that every business, regardless of size or stage, should have access to world class accounting and finance, not just the big players. Today, I focus entirely on delivering that level of support to clients, helping them turn ambitious goals into real outcomes.
Taking a leap of faith, I joined Infina in 2023 after training as a Chartered Accountant with EY in Dublin. With all of my clients, I take a relationship-first approach, focusing on building strong foundations from day one. I want them to know that their finance team is right there with them in the thick of it, through the highs and lows and fully invested in their success.
Joining the business in 2023, I transitioned from Financial Audit of FTSE and AIM listed businesses to the landscape of Founders and Start-Up Finance. It’s a fascinating space; ever-changing and ever demanding on those who help to build something truly special. I enjoy working with passionate people, collaborating with them to work the problem, and in finding innovative solutions that give them a sound platform of financial visibility to enable them to grow their business.
Michael Whitfield is a serial investor, director, and chairman based in London, known for helping founders and businesses grow faster and stronger. With a diverse portfolio of investments in companies like Involve.ai and Unmind, Michael has demonstrated expertise in HR tech and other sectors, serving as chairman and director in various successful ventures.
